Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) is a professional degree in medicine focused on Ayurveda. The course’s duration is five and a half years, including a year internship. The course aims at providing basic education in Ayurveda leading to the degree of B.A.M.S. It intends to prepare graduates of profound scholarship in the science of Ayurveda having basic and fundamental knowledge in different subjects of Ayurveda backed up by extensive practical training. Candidates who have passed higher secondary school certificate examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects are eligible for this course.
Admission Procedure
The students interested to take admission into B.A.M.S. course have to qualify the joint entrance test called NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) Conducted by agency authorized by Central Government, Which is usually conducted in the month of May-June every year. The merit listed students from NEET can only be allowed to take part in the online counselling which is conducted by AYUSH Department for admission.
Rules and Regulations
Any of the applicants who has taken admission in the institute must thoroughly read all relevant information contained in the prospectus and he/she is bound by the prevalent rules and regulations of the institution. These have been provided separately to every individual applicant in the form of a booklet at the time of admission. The students must go through them thoroughly.
Document Required for Admission
- High School/HSC examination pass certificate and mark sheet (03 copies).
- Intermediate/SSC examination pass certificate and mark sheet (03 copies)
- Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate in original.
- Migration Certificate in original.
- Character Certificate in original.
- Medical Fitness Certificate from Registered Medical Practitioner or CMO.
- Passport size photograph (8 nos).
- Self addressed envelope (11 cm x 25 cm size) with Rs. 05 stamp affixed (10 nos).
- Gap Certificate (reasons for the gap year/years).

Walk-In Registration
The Applicant can walk directly into our campus & meet our admission counsellor, who will counsel the student regarding the different courses and the eligibility criteria. After all the details received by the student, the applicant can fill the admission form & submit the photocopy of the documents. After scrutiny, the applicant will be informed about admission. On confirmation of admission the candidate is required to deposit the fee as per college norms
